Finally I got the opportunity to make some bad ass sourkraut in my crock-pot. Most people fucking HATE it so I never get to make it. Which brings me to the title of the post. The recipe I used is a combination of this one and one in my crock-pot book. Since it is a hybrid & in part my own creation I get to name it. I like naming things as you know. My todays kraut is named in honor of the biggest hater I know. His hate even extends to sourkraut itself.

Sasquatchkraut
2 cans sourkraut
2.5 cups apple juice
.25 lb bacon cooked chewy then diced
3 apples peeled cored & sliced
.25 cup of white vinegar
1 onion diced
blast of black pepper
blast of garlic

slow cook on low for 4-5 hours
