Most Popular Free Windows Downloads of 2008

Yesterday I did a small Mac software post. So when I saw this on Lifehacker this morning I figured why the hell not. There is a lot of quality FREE software out there that people overlook. For example about a month ago I had AFB switching IM clients. He went from a clunky pay client called Trillian to a FREE options that better suited his needs called Pidgin. I even downloaded a couple of these to clean up some of all the shit my PC collects.
