Well not much to report so far today. I am just having my morning coffee while working on this animated gif that I will be emailing to my brother. He couldn’t be with us this year because he got an internship teaching snowboarding to rich kids in Organ. He txted me asking how much it would cost to ship him a case of Grainbelt Premium. I told him that was stupid because the shipping would greatly exceed the cost of the beer. We polished off a case of Primo in his honor yesterday.
The IRS and I also rewrote the rules to Hippy Lawn Darts (aka Polish Golf, Ladder Golf). It is now an event ready for Tux Comp 2. Here are the revisions:
Players are now required to drink their opponents point totals.
All Beer cans will be left by the ladder, empty or full. If a can is knocked over the player will have to drink 1/2 a beer. *through experimentation the original plan of 1 full beer turned out to be WAY too much.
OK that is really all we did differently, but stacking the empties around really added an interesting dynamic to the game. We will probably play again today around noon.
