I made it out to Hugo Good Neighbor Days last night. This has become a tradition and I have done it for the last few years. Sometimes I will only be able to attend their lame ass parade. Well this year I knew to come ready with my camera to photograph the mouse game.

Before attending I told quite a few people about it in attempt to bring more friends out for the night. No body believed me when I told them about the mouse game. They all thought that I was making it up. Well I wasn’t and now I have the pictures & video to prove it. Well at least until the head mouse guy came over & shut me down.

Here is what is how the game is played. Everyone puts there money down on a colored sqare of their choice (think roulette). Then when that is done my friend with the mouse ears starts the song. “Here we go mousey here we go BANG!! BANG!!, Here we go mousey here we go BANG!! BANG!!” Every body sings along and the bangs are where he actually pounds on the table where the mouse is on under the box that he then rotates and lifts up. The mouse then runs around the table until it chooses a hole. Depending on which hole the mouse chooses you are then paid based on the odds of which of the eight colors you put your money on. The options are somthing like 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 5-1, 10-1, 20-1. The pictures and video really speak for themselves.
