Can you believe that it has been 20 years since Appetite came out? I remember buying my first copy as a cassette tape while I was in 4th grade. Since then I think that I have purchased at least 2 more CD copies since then. I have provided a download link for the entire album above incase you lost yours.
GnR seems to be everywhere these days. After finding this link at stereogum with pics fromt he 20th aniversary article. I saw the band on the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. The article was not that long and I red it in Target without purchasing their over priced rag. There were some interesting facts most notably Axel and the drummers girlfriend naked in the studeo recordign their fuck sounds for Rocket Queen. They are also selling vintage GnR T’s all over the place for a mere $10 I couldn’t resist picking one up.
This album changed my musical tastes forever. It will always be a classic in my mind.
