TextExpander is a customizable typing shortcut tool that saves time and keystrokes. With TextExpander, you can define abbreviations for frequently-used text strings and images, also known as snippets. When an abbreviation is typed, it expands automatically to the full snippet.

This latest update will be huge for me:

• Added hotkeys to activate TextExpander and to open the Search Snippets function

As soon as my stupid work upgrades me past 10.4 I will purchase my upgrade. Until then it is just not worth it. I don’t use it enough on my phone and am fine sticking with version 2 for now. Sure the $15 upgrade price isn’t a lot o money. However, until I can fully commit to a TextEpander lifestyle at both locations where I work there is just no point to taking it any further.
