The 10.6 update

I have to admit that I have recently become a little apprehensive about this update. I have heard a few negative reports where ppl have issues and I myself have experienced some. Now this is probably related to me & tech/geek pundits who notice every little nuance in the OS. That creates a conflict for me because I am a big propionate of “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”.

On the other hand it is always good to stay up to date. It is also a 10.6.0 upgrade and the rest will be fixed in software updates. Example if you go to your Apple menu click “About this Mac” you are probably at 10.4.11 or something as such. This offers the best opportunity to do it, but I would hate to break anything or disrupt your work in any way. Again you might not even notice & your Mac will be faster & better & rdy for the future.

Ultimately I have decided that I will not do it unless we can make a full clone backup of your HD to revert too. I will see if I can get an external drive to do this with tomorrow. If I do I will have to come over early so the LONG backup can happen over night & it won’t be disruptive. Dropbox is a good start and a good habit to get into…

Fuck I am not sending this email I sound like a goddamn Windows user.
